News Corporation's Head of Continuity and Resilience, Erin Noordeloos will speak at WOW's Barangaroo Safe Work Month's Morning Tea on Thursday October 24 (10.30am)
Erin has over 20 years’ experience in international risk management and strategic communications, focusing on contingency, psychosocial and security risk, and crisis management.
Primarily in broadcast and print media, her experience spans working in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and the Asia and Pacific regions for organisations including News Corp Australia, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, NBC Universal and Redr UK. She is a former Assistant Secretary with the Australian Government.
Working at the C-Suite and Executive level, Erin has developed strategic responses to risk management, organisational resilience and trauma including crisis communications and government relations. Experienced in working in conflict and disaster zones and major events including the London 2012 and Sochi 2014 Olympic Games and having managed large teams across multiple sites and countries, Erin focuses on capability development and talent management; transforming non-performing functions into effective, professionalised services.
Erin has provided expert opinion on international security and politics in media, including previously for the BBC and Al Jazeera. She has delivered keynote addresses and workshops at several international conferences including most recently the Australian Documentary Filmmakers Conference 2019, the 6th Annual Psychological Risks Congress 2019 and the 3rd Annual Mental Health Strategies for First Responders 2019, as well as sessions for NSW Rural Fire Service, NSW Dept Education and Dept Foreign Affairs and Trade.
