Christine Morgan, National Suicide Prevention Advisor To The Prime Minister To Speak At CXBank$







We are thrilled to announce that Christine Morgan, CEO of the National Mental Health Commission will speak at CXBank$. The event will be broadcast online on World Mental Health Day, October 10, 2019 which this year has the World Health Organisation (WHO) declared theme, Suicide Prevention. Tickets are free and can be obtained by registering at cxbanks.com Christine Morgan is the National Suicide Prevention Advisor to Prime Minister Scott Morrison.


CXBank$ discusses the intersection of Domestic and Family Violence, Suicide Prevention and Financial Abuse. Over 15 lived experience advocates and sector experts will share their insights and recommendations to support those impacted by Financial Abuse.


Prior to joining the Commission, Ms Morgan was CEO of the Butterfly Foundation for eating disorders and Director of the National Eating Disorders Collaboration. In the not for profit sector, Ms Morgan was General Manager at Wesley Mission, over the areas of Corporate Services; and Community & Family Development.


Prior to joining Wesley Mission, Ms Morgan was Executive General Manager responsible for managing the strategic direction and business unit effectiveness of the Wholesale, Broadband & Media Business Unit at Telstra.
