About Bridget Davis
Bridget Davis is an award winning chef and author who currently calls Sydney Australia home. Originally from Aotearoa New Zealand, Bridget grew up in South Auckland where she left school at 14 to pursue what would become her lifelong passion, food, cooking and serving and helping others. Bridget trained as Chef at Auckland's MIT where she graduated with distinction before going on to become the first President of the New Zealand Training Chefs Association at age 19.
Bridget has been cooking in professional kitchens for over 20 years and has owned and operated a number of hospitality businesses including working as a restaurant consultant, executive chef for the largest event company in New Zealand and owner operator of 2 successful gastro-pubs in Sydney's CBD.
Bridget has been head chef for Bill Granger and has appeared on the Oprah Show and Good morning America where she scrambled eggs for Bill. She has worked alongside some of the world's best chefs including Tetsuya Wakuda and Marco Pierre White and is regularly called upon as a brand ambassador and keynote speaker for Google, Lenovo and as the face of her alumni for MIT as they celebrated their 50 year anniversary.
Bridget has spoken at TEDx on food and social media and has an audience of over 200,000 followers across her various social media platforms. Bridget regularly gets asked to travel the world to attend events and conferences as an influencer and social change ambasador.
Bridget is a Mum of 3, Krissy 28, Coco 18 and Mace 15 and now runs her own business as a highly successful food and travel writer, recipe developer, cookbook author and presenter.
Bridget is the author of 5 best selling cookbooks. Her second cookbook, Breakfast around the world was awarded the prestigious World Gourmand cookbook award and was named as the best breakfast and brunch cookbook in the world for 2018. The same book was also named as one of the most influential cookbooks in the world for the last 25 years of the gourmand awards.
Bridget has gone on to be awarded a gourmand for the best diet cookbook in New Zealand for 2019 for her work MORE from Bridget’s Healthy Kitchen and last month she released her latest cookbook, Eat your way slim and healthy which is already on its second print run and selling to rave reviews all over the world.
Bridget's healthy kitchen is the product of Bridget's work on social media where she has a dedicated following who adore her gut healthy recipes that are free from sugar, dairy and gluten.
Bridget lost 30 kgs in 5 months simply by eating her own food and with no exercise and is a walking talking billboard of how healthy living and gut health can and will change your life.
